In the meantime, here's a picture of the squid man with a human mini for scale. The human is one I painted years and years ago.Shading? Sort of. Highlighting? I can't tell. Definitely some texture and frosting problems, too. See, practice does help you improve!
And here's the vestal. I finished her skin, and put most of the detail on her face. Next her her will be her hair. Sadly, the highlights are blown out in the pictures, so they don't show very well.
