Almost done...

Did a little more with Balon's hair - just put in some white highlights. Also finished the metal bits, and worked on the base. I see I have a couple rub-off spots to fix. I'm also not entirely happy with the angle at which I got his sword hand glued on, but I'm not going to take it off to try again. Too likely to damage something.

Here's his base. The white stuff is water effects that's still drying.

Last, this is the practice piece I was using to demonstrate techniques for smooth blends to some friends. Not my best work ever, but it suited its purpose. I'm not sure if I'll finish this mini from here. I'm leaning toward switching to a different base color on that cloak.
