I'm on to the fine detail work on the elf. Today, that was freehand on her clothing, the highlights on the staff, arm wraps, and sandals, and the gold jewelry. I also put the base color on her gems.
Coming along nicely! The skin tones look great--very smooth. The dress is looks good--are you shading the green with purple? I might take the highlights up another notch on the top part of the dress. The highlighting is well done, but pretty uniform from the highlighting standpoint both on the top and bottom of the dress. The other critique I have would be the eyes. It may just be the photo, but her eyes look to be slightly disconjugate. Her right eye appears to be looking to her right, but her left eye is looking straight ahead. Huge thumbs up for the light reflection point on those, though!
