Can you outline your steps for doing the fire? I do mine with wet-blended red, yellow, and orange tipped with black, but I'm always looking for new flame painting techniques.
I put down a base coat of my yellow over everything, then glazed somewhere between two thirds and a half of each flame up through orange, and then put a more reddish orange on just the very tops of the most distinct or largest flames. I've seen people take it up through brown or black, and that looks good too.

DeleteThanks for sharing that!
Delete"Maybe we could build a fire, sing a couple of songs, huh?"
