I finished Perseus today. Sure enough, I couldn't get the shield placed the way I think it's supposed to be. I ended up just kinda jamming it up in there, no glue, with just pressure from the other parts of the figure holding it in place. I'm not going to take this guy anywhere, so it'll be fine.
If I had to pick a word to describe my work on this figure, it'd be 'inconsistent'. I'm happy with the skin, face, and hair, but the sword is terrible. I like the helmet, but the shield is meh. I'm disappointed that I couldn't get the shield on right and that Medusa's head is at a weird angle.
But whatever, it's done. Time for something else.
