Nandi's dress
Decided I'm done with the hair (this is not necessarily the same as the hair being done) and moved on to her clothes. The pattern and colors are inspired by one of her outfits in the show. I'm not sure what to do with the pieces on her hips and shoulders. I shaded the orange parts with the base color with some red mixed in. Usually I'd have shaded with a blue or purple, but I wanted a different look, so...I'll try this. The shadows have a little more contrast in person, but I may still need to deepen them more...haven't decided yet.

Amusingly, I saw these photos first and thought that the figure was named Nandi by the manufacturer and it just happened to remind me of Nandi from Firefly. Well done. Should have you down to play Firefly the board game some night. We can play up to 7 ship captains with the two expansions and bonus ship. You could play Nandi as a ship captain.
