4!

Finished up the strumpet today. I'm pretty pleased with her. And, she's done in plenty of time for my husband's D&D game.

Also started on the next Bones guy. This is Ezren, a Pathfinder guy. He'll be for use as a marker with our Pathfinder Card Game.

Strumpet: Hair, Dress

I did the drow merchant's hair today and started on her dress. My husband asked for a red dress with a purple blend at the bottom, like Nandi. So I've got the base coat of the red and purple on there.

Not sure what color to do the lining of the dress. Typically it'd be a shade of white, like linen, but that might not go real well with the feel of the figure. On the other hand, might need it for contrast, and it'd bring some more of the colors of her hair into the figure.

Strumpet: Skin, Face

Got in a little time on the drow strumpet...er, merchant. Put shading and highlighting on her skin and details on her face, which went very quickly because half her face is covered by her hair. Her head is tilted down, so it's hard to get a good angle on her eye, but it's in there, I swear.

Takhi, Strumpet

I did not get a ton done today. A little more on Takhi, just finishing off the base coat on his fur.

Also started this figure for gaming. My husband needs a drow merchant for his next D&D game, so enter the Reaper Bones Strumpet. I'm going to try to finish this quickly. It'll just be gaming quality. So far, she's just got a base coat on her skin.

Takhi - Fur

Finally finished off Takhi's skin today. Yay! I'm pretty happy with how it came out, and even happier to be moving on to the next step. I've started the base coat on his fur. Still needs some coats to get a solid base, but you can see how the colors are going to go.

3!

Here's Trista, all finished. Highlights on the red are a little brighter in person than they look in the pictures. They could be higher still, and it would be better.

Also did some work on Takhi. Put highlights on his leg. I also figured out what it was about the highlights that were bothering me - I have 2 highlight tones, and the darker of them was too light, too close to the top level highlight. So, it ended up looking too start because the step between the midtone and the highlight area was too large. I picked out a darker tone in the same family, and things started coming together very nicely. I went back and re-worked the highlights on his chest and arm.

Takhi & Trista

Continued highlights Takhi's skin and detailing the areas as I worked on them. Today was his torso and his arm and claws. I'm not sure about the patches on his chest in particular. They seem a little stark, but they also seem to be blended reasonably smoothly...so I'm not sure.

Also did some quick shading on Trista's sash.
