Lupa: Skin, Hair

 I've been working on prep for a couple new projects. They aren't ready for pictures yet, but as soon as they are I'll get something up. This one actually is ready. This is Lupa, another Arena Rex gladiator. I've base coated her skin and hair here.

Here's Aemilia done. Well, I need to put a coat of sealer on her, which I will do next time. But she's done enough to count.

Aemilia: Fur, Leather, Bronze

Finished up the fur and leather. Not loving the shoes, but not hating it enough that I feel likely to change it. Then I started on the parts I'm going to do as bronze. They're base coated, need shading and highlights. Then it's just the spear tip left, which I'm going to do as steel, and the base. Just two or three more sessions, I think.

Aemilia: Cloth, Leather, Fur

 Finished the beige cloth on Aemilia, and put a base coat on the fur, leather straps, and haft of her spear. Missed the sandals. Next will be finishing off all the dark brown areas, and then moving on to the metal.

Aemilia: Clothes

Finished the blue cloth, and base coated the beige parts. Wanted to get a little farther today but had some other things going on.

Aemilia: Hair, Clothes

I continued on with Aemilia today. I finished her hair and base coated and shaded her clothing and the little flag on her spear - everything that's going to be blue. Next I'll highlights the blues and then start on the other cloth areas. I need to double check if that blue area on the side of her face is paint that got there by accident, or just reflection from the banner on the spear.

Aemilia: Skin

Started my June figure. This is Aemilia, from Arena Rex. I did her skin and face tonight; hair will be next.

What's with all the Arena Rex figures? Well, I have a bunch ready for paint, and of all the lines of figures I have, this one is small enough that I could actually paint it all if I really tried. Am I going to? Well, no, not this year. But for now, these are what I'm working on. Until I feel like doing something else.
