 Finished up the male drider today. He's not great, but he's fine for something quick that started out as a flesh tone test.

Drider: Rest of the base coat

I finished the commission I was working on and got back to my own projects today. I didn't feel up to serious work, so I put a base coat on the rest of the male drider.

I originally had the sword and shield prepped for NMM, then decided...I don't want to do NMM on the bent sword. He's going to get TMM. It's going to be a rough paint job, but so far I like him anyway.

Drider: Flesh tone test, part 2

I didn't have a lot of time tonight, so I worked on adding some quick highlights to the male drider to finish my skin tone test. I settled on some highlight colors for both the lighter and darker base, and I have settled on a set that I'm happy with.

 So here's the wood elf, actually finished this time.

Also got back to Jack today. This is just roughing in a first round of shadows on his face. I think I like the placement, but I'm going to give it some further thought.

Wood Elf: Done...ish. Driders: Flesh tone tests.

I finished up the base on the wood elf today. She'd be done....except I forgot I'd gotten a little of the green from her cloak on her cheek, and forgot to clean it up. So, I have to do that next time, and then she'll be done.

I've also been experimenting with skin tones for a commission that I will start soon. Here's my test pieces. This guy has two base skin tones, both of which have been shaded.

And another one, with a couple more base skin tones. No shading here. I'm not going to use either of these, so I'm not following through on them now. 

I plan to finish these off eventually. I'll probably leave them with their half and half skin tones, though.

Wood Elf - Cloak, Bits, Base

 Mostly finished the elf today. I worked on her cloak, the remaining bits, and then finally the base. I have to wait for the glue on the base to dry and then paint the foliage, and then this will be done.

Wood Elf - Tunic, Bow, Other Bits

 Continued on with the elf today. She's going pretty quick; if I stick with working on her she'll probably be done in another session or two.
