Keeper: Torso jewelry

Got some highlights on the bodice and base coated the jewelry on their torso and head. Oh, and base coated the hair as well, including the piece that isn't attached.

Keeper: Face

 Did facial details, which is really just the eyes and mouth for him. The mouth was quick, and (of course) I spent a lot of time futzing with the eyes. I'm not sold on the result, but they're barely going to be visible anyway once the rest of the jewelry goes on his face.

Keeper: Torso, Head

Finished shading and highlighting on the front of his torso and his face. I think the order of operations here will be finish the torso clothing including the beads, then his face, hair, horns, and jewelry on his head, and then each of his arms. I'm guessing...two more weeks. Maybe a bit more because I'm going to miss a couple days in there.

Keeper: Cape back

Finished the back of the cape and put a first round of highlight on the back of his leg and the front edge of the skirt. The highlight on that inner skirt is not great and will need to be fixed, but I think next I'm going to finish the front of the torso and maybe his head.

Keeper: Cape Shade & Highlight

Did the highlights on the front of his cape, and shadows on the back. Next will be highlights on the back.

Keeper: Cape Decorations

Finished the gold and blue decorations on the cape. I will continue with the cape from here, though I might do the front and then finish the back later. 

Keeper: Cape

Glued the joins on the wrists, and then base coated the decorative details. Next time I'm hoping to finish the decorations and highlight the parts of the skirt that are still visible from the back.

Keeper: Cape

Shaded the inside of the cape and attached it. I still need to glue where it attaches to the wrists. Then, since it needed time to set, I started just a bit on the Death Jester.

Keeper: Tail

Got the tail attached and painted. Also finished the shading and highlights on his back. I need to get some highlight on those tail spikes, and then it will be ready for the cape to be attached. But before I can do that, I need to get the inside of the cape painted.

Keeper: Even More Jewelry

Painted the beads. I'm glad I went with the blue, but I might put a few red beads in there. It's a lot of blue. They needed to be shaded and highlighted, and I'm going to need to retouch some of the gold. Another day to finish that part, at least.

Finished the gold and the gems. I need to do the rest of the beads; I'm leaning towards making them blue, like the gems.

Wow, this guy is going slow. Anyway, I worked on his jewelry today. It'll take at least one more session, maybe two, to finish it.

Keeper: Jewelry, Loincloth

Shaded and highlighted the thighs, highlighted the loincloth, glued on the rest of the jewelry in that area, and started painting it. Going to finish the jewelry next, and then reevaluate. 

Keeper: Skirt, Loincloth

Got the base coat on the outside of the skirt and the loincloth. Forgot I meant to finish the thighs first, but it'll be OK. I should do that next.

Keeper: Next Bits

I did what was in the plan - painted the back of the loincloth, did gap filling on the back piece, and attached the loincloth. Next steps: finish the thighs (should have done that before putting the loincloth on, doh), then paint the outside of the skirt and the loincloth. After that, there is some more jewelry bits that go on his hips; I will attach those and probably paint that jewelry.

Keeper: Stockings

Finished the stockings today. Also primed a couple of pieces that will go on soon. Next steps: Gap fill where the back piece is attached, paint the back of the loincloth piece, and glue it on.

Keeper: Hooves, Robe

So, clearly this piece is just going to go slow. Anyway, I shaded their butt (no longer visible, really), attached the first robe piece which includes the rest of their back, and finished the hooves. Next step will be finish the legs, then attach the front loincloth, then paint the outside of the robe. Very little of it will be visible once the outer robe goes on, so I might make the whole thing purple. Oh, and I think I need to gap fill some of the seams with the new piece, sadly.

Keeper: Stockings

Got the base on the rest of the stockings tonight. Not sure if I need to highlight them before putting the next piece on; it doesn't seem to leave a lot of things hard to reach and also visible; mostly it just overs the parts it hides. Will think about it.

Keeper: Skin, Stockings

Finished the first round of highlight on the skin, and then started the base coat of his stockings/tights. Took longer than it should have - I realized I was about out of the color I was using for the bottom part of the stockings and the inside of the clothing, looked for backup bottles and didn't find any, found the color is out of print so I can't order more, and then figured out how to mix a reasonable facsimile with other paints that I do currently have. I also base coated the inside of the cloak piece that will get attached after the legs are done, but that's not pictured here.

Keeper: Shading skin

I worked on the first round of shadows on the Keeper's skin. Did not finish. As I was wrapping up I realized that to get the next piece on the figure, I need to focus on the legs, not the rest of him. So, I'll probably finish this round of shadow on the skin but then switch to working on the legs and the inside of the piece that will get attached.
