I got his armor glued in place today, and got some of the shading on the metals done. There's more shading to do.
I think it would have been better if I'd chosen a less blue steel color; it kinda blends in. However, it's also quite flat compared to the rest of him, which might also be messing with how it looks. I'm going to do more shading and highlighting and get the contrast up and then see what I think.

Demon: Necklace, Armor
Got back to painting today, and got back to the demon. He's mostly done and I'd like to get him finished up.
I did silver bits on his armor today and also got the shoulder armor started. My plan is to shade the necklace links that will be under the shoulder armor so I can glue it in place and do the shading and highlighting of that piece on the figure.
I knocked him over today (a couple times) and also got silver paint on his nose. Sigh.

Dagon: Half the Tail Done!
This is all the front half of Dagon's tail.
I was originally planning to do all the fins, then come back to the middle bits, but I might be getting low on the purple I'm using. So I wanted to get the front done, so that in case I run out and have to try to mix a match (and don't quite manage it), the different shadow color will be on the back, and less likely to be viewed.

Dagon: More Tail
I did the gap filling yesterday, so today I was able to get back to paint. Started detailing on the fins.

Dagon: Tail
Here's Dagon's tail with the colors roughed in. I've glued it to the body.
I initially tried roughing in the colors with the airbrush, but it was not cooperating. There seems to be a clog in the nozzle that's keeping it from working properly. I'm going to have to take it apart and see if I can fix it.
There's some pretty sizeable gaps where the tail meets the body that I'm going to fill. Then it's just finishing up the tail pieces with blending, detail work, and highlights.

Dagon: More Limbs
Continued shading and highlighting along Dagon's legs. All the appendages are done now. I'd hoped to get the shading on his body done as well, but no such luck.
I'm not thrilled with how he's looking, but I'm hopeful that once I get in to the body (and the face) it'll improve. He's in Ugly Stage right now, for sure.
