Shub - hooves, legs

I'm working from the bottom up on Shubby. I put some highlights on the hooves that I'm still not sure how I feel about. Then I started on those wounds on his legs. I'll finish those, then the skin around the wounds, and finally the fur.

Yes, it's been a while. I've been busy with household projects, but I did get this far. This is airbrushing  a base coat on Shubby. The top is airbrushed purple; the fur on the legs is dark brown.
