19! (Now that's what I call a campfire!*)

Flame color test complete, and I'm pretty happy with the colors.


I think it's really cool that you can get a camp fire figure. Don't know that I'll use it much, but it's still cool that there is one.

  1. Can you outline your steps for doing the fire? I do mine with wet-blended red, yellow, and orange tipped with black, but I'm always looking for new flame painting techniques.

    1. I put down a base coat of my yellow over everything, then glazed somewhere between two thirds and a half of each flame up through orange, and then put a more reddish orange on just the very tops of the most distinct or largest flames. I've seen people take it up through brown or black, and that looks good too.
